Cutting the roots into long, thin strips, helps the juicer to work. Chloe did not cut the ginger, but juiced it last. On juicing websites, the long fibers in ginger have a reputation for clogging juicers. During the cleaning phase, Chloe found long strings of ginger in the juicing pulp outlet, and will probably cut the ginger into smaller pieces next time.

Clean up was easy.

At the end, there were about 2 cups of pulp, and almost 1 cup of juice. The high quality juice was delicious.

Mango Strawberry Sorbet Test

Making sorbet with the Dash juicer is easy.

To make sorbet, Chloe took the mangoes and strawberries out of the freezer, and allow them to defrost for 5-15 minutes, like the instruction manual says.

Chloe found that a whole frozen strawberry won’t fit through the feeder tube, but that an ulu can easily cut a frozen strawberry into halves.

Assemble the juicer with the homogenizing part.

Turn on juicer and put fruit through the tube.
